Dr. Diego Carvalho is a Physician and Otolaryngologist with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology. A Professor and Researcher at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) and State University of Amazonas (UEA), he brings residency experience from Fundação Hospital Adriano Jorge (Manaus-Amazonas-Brazil) and Hospital Kremelin Bicêtre – Université Paris-Sud (Paris-France). His research expertise lies in nasal mucosal immunity, with current focus on post-COVID-19 changes, environmental inflammation (biomass burning), and nasal leishmaniasis, exploring the dynamics of NALT.
