Mustafa Şahin

Prof. Mustafa Şahin is a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery with extensive

experience in laryngology, audiology, and swallowing disorders. After completing his medical and

academic training at Hacettepe University, Ege University, and Adnan Menderes University, he further

specialized through a clinical research fellowship at the University of California, Davis, focusing on

voice and swallowing disorders.

In his clinical practice, he performs a wide range of procedures, including voice, airway, and

swallowing surgeries, functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty, head and neck cancer surgeries, and

otologic procedures for both pediatric and adult patients. His work combines surgical precision,

patient-centered care, and academic leadership, supported by his active roles in professional

organizations such as the Voice, Speech and Swallowing Disorders Association and the Difficult

Airway Association.
