Dr Christopher J Chin attended medical school and residency in London, Ontario at Western University. He subsequently completed his fellowship in Rhinology, Anterior Skull Base Surgery, and Head and Neck Oncology at the University of Toronto. He is the former Division Head of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Dalhousie University.

After completing his fellowship in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery in Toronto, he helped launch the New Brunswick Neuropituitary clinic as well as the Multidisciplinary Airway Clinic for treatment of complex sinus disease in Saint John. He has since relocated to Halifax where he serves as the Residency Program Director for Otolaryngology as of April 2025.  Dr Chin has published over 45 peer-reviewed papers, 3 textbook chapters and is former chair of the Rhinology subgroup of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology.
