JBK graduated as a MD in 2018, and has since worked clinically and scientifically within the field of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery. Since March 2026, holding a PhD in audiovestibular sciences, with his thesis titled:

“Theoretical Validity of Cervical Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential Assessment and Its Measurement Reliability in Cochlear Implant Candidates - A Critical Review and Reliability Study with Embedded Meta-analysis”
