Sung Kwang Hong
Dr. Hong is currently a Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital. He also serves as the Director of the Laboratory of Virtual Reality & Brain Sciences for Convergence Medicine at Hallym University College of Medicine. He received his M.D. degree from Hallym University College of Medicine and his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Korea University. He completed a neurotology fellowship at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. His research focuses on the development of software as medical devices for patients with vestibular disorders, integrating virtual reality and AI-based technologies. He has received research funding from various national and international agencies, including the National Research Foundation of Korea, Hyundai Motor Company, and Samsung Electronics. He is currently conducting a confirmatory clinical trial of digital therapeutics for patients with dizziness
