Nesrettin Fatih Turgut
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nesrettin Fatih Turgut completed his medical education at Erciyes University in 2010 and earned the title of Medical Doctor. In 2016, he successfully completed his residency training at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, becoming a specialist in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) diseases.
During his residency training, he also completed a Master’s degree in Audiology at the Department of Audiology, Faculty of Health Sciences at Yıldırım Beyazıt University in 2014, thereby earning the title of Audiology Specialist as well.
In 2020, he worked as an observer physician at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, one of Europe’s most advanced pediatric hospitals, located in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Dr. Turgut was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2023. Since January 2024, he has been continuing his clinical and academic work at Medicana Samsun Hospital.
His special areas of interest include sialendoscopy, pediatric ENT, endoscopic sinus surgery, and endoscopic ear surgery.

Description: This activity will highlight cutting-edge innovations in otolaryngology, focusing on advanced airway management techniques and the evolution of minimally invasive sialendoscopy for salivary gland disorders.
Outcome Objectives: Upon completion, participants will be able to describe new technologies in airway management and explain the benefits of minimally invasive sialendoscopy.
Background: Recent advances in technology have significantly improved patient outcomes in otolaryngology. This course provides an overview of key developments, moving from essential airway control to delicate, minimally invasive procedures.
