Romina Weinschelbaum

I am an Otolaryngologist and Neurotologist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a dedicated focus on vestibular and complex audio-vestibular disorders. My professional work centers on acute vestibular syndrome, vestibular migraine, and advanced diagnostic strategies in neurotology, integrating evidence-based algorithms with state-of-the-art vestibular testing.

I currently serve as President of the Foro Iberoamericano de Neurotología (FINO), where I lead regional scientific initiatives aimed at strengthening academic collaboration, research development, and high-level education in vestibular medicine across Latin America and Europe.

I am Vice Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology at INEBA (Instituto de Neurociencias Buenos Aires) and Chief of Service at the Instituto Superior de Otorrinolaringología. In these roles, I oversee clinical, academic, and training programs in neurotology, with emphasis on the implementation of Bárány Society criteria, structured diagnostic pathways, and advanced technologies such as video Head Impulse Test (vHIT) and comprehensive oculomotor assessment.

I actively contribute to international scientific meetings as a speaker and faculty member, focusing on acute vestibular syndrome, vestibular migraine, and the differential diagnosis of audio-vestibular disorders
