Dr. Bengisu Yazıcı Akkurt is an ENT resident at Kartal Dr. Lutfi Kirdar City Hospital in Istanbul, Türkiye, with three and a half years of residency training. She graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, one of the leading medical schools in the country.

She is actively engaged in clinical practice and academic research, with a focus on otology and head and neck surgery. Her research interests include ototoxicity mechanisms and protective strategies, as well as quality of life outcomes following surgical interventions.

She is currently involved in experimental and clinical research projects and has contributed to studies presented at national and international scientific meetings.
