Prof. Dr. Selçuk Güneş graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2007 and completed his specialization in the Department of Otolaryngology at the same faculty between 2007 and 2012. He worked at the Ministry of Health Health Sciences University Istanbul Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a specialist, chief assistant, and associate professor between 2013 and 2019. In 2018, he was at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, where he had the opportunity to observe head and neck cancer surgery and reconstruction. He worked at Şişli Memorial Hospital between 2021 and 2025. As of October 2025, he continues to work at Liv Hospital Vadi İstanbul. He is particularly interested in head and neck cancers.
