Hassan H. Ramadan, MD, MSc, FACS, FARS

Professor and Chair Department of Otolaryngology H&N Surgery at West Virginia University, USA.

A graduate of the American University of Beirut, School of Medicine, where he completed his Otolaryngology residency. Dr. Ramadan completed two fellowships at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear infirmary, Harvard medical school in Boston, MA, as well as one at Lenox Hill hospital in NY City. Dr. Ramadan earned a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard school of public health. He is American board certified in Otolaryngology H&N Surgery. He has published over 150 academic publications with majority on surgery for endoscopic sinus surgery. Dr. Ramadan is the editor of the text book on Pediatric Rhinosinusitis.

Dr. Ramadan is past vice president of the prestigious Triological southern section society, & past Chair of Pediatric Rhinologic committee. He Holds several national awards from American Academy of Otolaryngology as well as the Triological society. He is the recipient of the WVU Dean’s award for excellence in 2003, and the WVU Vice president’s “Master Clinician Award” in 2021.He is also a member of American Academy of Otolaryngology H&N Surgery, American Rhinologic society, American Academy of Otolaryngic allergy, Triological society as well as American College of Surgeons.
