<p>Head of the Speech-Language Unit at King Fahad University Hospital (KFUH), Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Lead Auditory-Verbal practitioner in the hospital’s Cochlear Implant Unit and senior clinical supervisor for Speech-Language Pathology interns, with 25+ years of experience.</p> <p>Licensed by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and certified by The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she obtained advanced specialization in Auditory-Verbal Therapy and cochlear implant rehabilitation.</p> <p>She has presented and provided workshops nationally and internationally, sat on scientific committees and advisory boards, and guest lectured at Saudi universities. Fluent in 4 languages, during her work in the U.S, she sat on committees developing fair testing materials for Arab-American students.</p> <p>A founding member of “The Saudi Association for Cochlear Implantation” charity organization, her current research examines parental role and impact on outcomes in children using hearing technology.</p>
