Yi-Ho Young
Dr. Yi-Ho Young presently serves as a full-time professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital in New Taipei, Taiwan. He received his MD degree from National Taiwan University in 1981, followed by a PhD from the University of Tokyo in 1991. His assignments encompassed from a resident doctor, visiting staff, lecturer, associate professor, to a full-time professor at the Department of Otolaryngology, National Taiwan University Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan from 1983 to 2023. In 2023, he was retired from the National Taiwan University and transitioned to another medical center, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, where he continues to pursue his medical career and academic endeavors. He has dedicated his efforts to conducting extensive experiments, with a particular focus on the study of vestibular evoked myogenic potential (VEMP). His research spans across human subjects, ranging from newborns to the elderly, as well as experimental animals.
