<p>Dr. Saarentaus is an otorhinolaryngology resident and physician-scientist with an MD/PhD and a BSc in Biotechnology. His doctoral research focused on leveraging large-scale population cohorts to investigate the genetic architecture of complex traits, integrating genomics, epidemiology, and computational biology. With a strong interest in translational medicine, Dr. Saarentaus aims to bridge population-scale genomic discovery with clinical practice in otolaryngology. Current interests include precision medicine, disease susceptibility, and the application of computational and genomic approaches to improve diagnosis and treatment in ENT.</p>
