Boudjenah Farid
Professor Farid Boudjenah is Head of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Beni Messous University Hospital Center in Algiers, Algeria. He is an internationally recognised expert in otology, neurotology, and lateral skull base surgery, and leads one of Algeria’s major ENT referral centres. His clinical leadership has also extended to supporting advanced cochlear implant and skull-base surgical programmes in other Algerian university hospitals.
Professor Boudjenah has made important research contributions to the genetic basis of hereditary hearing loss in Algerian families, including work on TECTA, GJB2, and other genes implicated in congenital deafness. He is also a dedicated teacher and mentor who has trained and inspired many otolaryngologists across Algeria
