Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology I have worked as a general otorhinolaryngologist until 2010, when I started as head of the Otorhinolaryngology Department at the Moisès Broggi Hospital, in Barcelona, and full time middle ear surgeon since then. From June 2020 up to know, I am working at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, as a senior specialist in the otology section of the ENT Department, under the umbrella of Prof. Manuel Bernal Sprekelssen first and now under Dr. Francesc Larrosa and Professor Isabel Vilaseca. I am an associate professor at the University of Barcelona since 2012.

Experienced in tubal dysfunction since 2014, when I first performed a balloon tuboplasty. Since then, I have done several of these procedures and I have worked on the Spanish consensus for balloon tubal dilatation, as well as on a retrospective study of 6 national centres already published. It is an honour to be a member of the board of the International Working Group on Eustachian Tube Dysfunction (IWGET) since 2024, and I participated in the panel of speakers at the first IWGET World Congress. I have also contributed to the forthcoming special issue on Eustachian tube dysfunction in Otolaryngology-Clinics of North America. Actually I am working on Patulouse dysfunction and PHI validation into Spanish, Diagnosis of Eustachian Tube Dysfunction and the role of the Eustachian Tube in middle ear pathology.
