Prof. Shengcai Wang is an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon at Beijing Children’s Hospital, Capital Medical University, National Center for Children’s Health. He serves as Director of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. His clinical and research interests include head and neck tumors, thyroid diseases, upper airway obstruction in children, congenital head and neck malformations, as well as adenotonsillar hypertrophy. He has long been dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of complex pediatric otolaryngologic disorders and has performed nearly 10,000 surgical operations throughout his career. He has also led nine research projects and published more than 40 academic papers, contributing to the advancement of pediatric otolaryngology and the improved care of children with head and neck diseases.
