<p>Dr. Bonifacio is a Hematologist with more than 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. As SVP, Head of Development in Precigen, he’s currently leading Medical and Clinical activities related to the launch of Zopapogene Imadenovec in the US (Papzimeos) and to the rest of the Precigen pipeline.</p> <p>During his career, Dr. Bonifacio has held Global, US and European roles in Hematology, Oncology and Rare Diseases for BMS, Novartis, GSK, Amgen and Glycomimetics. He has worked in the US, UK, and Italy, leading launches across different geographies (Europe, US and Americas, Asia/Pacific) in multiple hematologic diseases including CLL, ITP, SAA, MDS, MF and AML.</p> <p>Dr. Bonifacio obtained his Medical Degree and Board in Hematology from the University of Palermo in Italy and his Masters in General Management from the SDA Bocconi School of Management. He has broad clinical experience treating patients with hematologic diseases and solid tumors as well as thrombosis and hemostasis. He also has robust clinical experience having served as an investigator/sub- investigator across multiple clinical trials</p>
