Ömer Faruk Yılmaz, MD, is an otorhinolaryngologist currently working at Nizip State Hospital in Gaziantep, Türkiye. He graduated from Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency training in Otorhinolaryngology at the same university.

He has been practicing as an ENT specialist for one year. His main clinical and academic interests include head and neck surgery and rhinology, with a particular interest in thyroid diseases and thyroid cancer.

At IFOS 2026 in Istanbul, he will present his research on the temporal distribution of aggressive histological variants of papillary thyroid carcinoma and their association with clinicopathological characteristics.
