<p>My name is Maria-Delia Florean, and I am an ENT specialist and PhD student in Cluj, Romania. I began my PhD studies in 2023, focusing on Predictable Biomarkers of the Recurrence of Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps. During my residency period, from 2020 to 2024, I participated in numerous scientific events, congresses and conferences in ENT, which opened the way to new horizons and inspired me to acquire as much knowledge and skills as possible to become a competent professional. For example, I won an award for the best oral presentation at the Congress of the Romanian Society of Rhinology, which qualified me for the European ORL-HNS Congress in Dublin. Moreover, I completed shifts at the emergency hospital and had a fellowship where I learned step by step to perform nose surgeries.</p>
