Marika Russell
Marika D. Russell, MD, FACS is Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Harvard Medical School/Mass Eye and Ear where she also serves as Director of Education for the Division of Thyroid and Parathyroid Endocrine Surgery. She earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed her residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and completed an American Head and Neck Society (AHNS) – accredited fellowship in thyroid/parathyroid surgery at Mass Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School. Her clinical interests include application of ultrasound to the diagnosis and management of thyroid and parathyroid conditions, radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules and treatment of advanced thyroid cancer. Dr. Russell is a member of the International Thyroid Oncology Group, Vice-chair of the AHNS – Endocrine Section, and an Associate Board Member of the World Congress on Thyroid Cancer.
