Christian Betz
Having been trained in Germany, the UK and Australia, Dr. Betz is chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at UKE Hamburg. His primary clinical interests are rhinologic surgery, head and neck surgery and anterior skull base surgery. He is involved in numerous scientific projects and in various scientific societies.

Even though benign sinonasal tumors arerare, their management could sometimes be very challenging. Among a variety ofdifferent histopathology these generally solitary and unilateral benign masses ofthe sinonasal cavity sometimes may erode the bony boundaries and impingeon adjacent structures, sometimes may cause secondary inflammatory problems, sometimes may have the potential to turn into a malignancy or sometimes may result in different serious symptoms like severe epistaxis while expanding along different anatomical compartments. This panel of European experts will be covering the most important aspects and current management of these tumors to reveal how they are dealing with those pathologies in their practices including how to analyze imaging, choose the correct treatment strategy, and if surgery needed the appropriate approach that would also reduce the morbidity.
