<p>I graduated from Istanbul University - Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine on July 15, 2021, earning my Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. My interest in surgical specialties throughout my medical education evolved into a professional path when I ranked 411th nationally in the Medical Specialty Entrance Examination (TUS) on September 8, 2021, with a score of 70.3.</p> <p>Prior to starting my residency, I served as a General Practitioner in the Emergency Department at Sakarya Akyazı State Hospital from September 15, 2021, to January 31, 2022. This period was a significant stage where I enhanced my clinical decision-making skills and gained hands-on experience with a high-volume patient population.</p> <p>In January 2022, I began my residency training at the Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. During my training, in which I am currently in my fourth year (PGY-4), I have actively participated in otologic surgeries such as tympanoplasty and mastoidectomy, endoscopic sinus surgery, and head and neck oncology surgery. In my clinical practice, I also perform nasal endoscopy and flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy, while managing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient ENT care.</p> <p>By blending my academic and clinical knowledge with modern surgical approaches, I continue my work with the goal of becoming a highly competent specialist in the field of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.</p>
