Archwin Tanphaichitr
Dr. Archwin Tanphaichitr is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. His subspecialty is pediatric otolaryngology and pediatric sleep medicine.
He finished medical degree from Chulalongkorn University in 2000 and otolaryngology from Siriraj Hospital in 2006. He was a visiting scholar in pediatric otolaryngology at Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago, USA during the year 2011-2012. He was an observer in the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology and a research fellowship in sleep medicine at Sleep Disorders Center, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, USA during the year 2012-2013. He received a Thai Subboard of Sleep Otolaryngology in 2018.
He is a member of the Royal College of Otolaryngologists-Head and Neck Surgeons of Thailand (RCOT), the Sleep Society of Thailand (SST), the Asian Pediatric Otolaryngology Group (APOG), the international member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO) and International Pediatric Otolaryngology Group (IPOG).
He received the "Young Scientist Award" for an oral presentation titled "The Effect of Supraglottoplasty on Respiratory Events and Sleep Architecture in Infants with Laryngomalacia" at the 20th World Congress of the International Federation of Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Societies (IFOS) June 1-5, 2013, Seoul, Korea.
His special interest is pediatric otolaryngology, pediatric airway, and pediatric OSA.
