My title: PGA sheet sealing to prevent scarring after vocal fold mucosal resection. I will talk about our approach using a clinically available polyglycolic acid, or PGA, sheet to prevent vocal fold scarring after mucosal resection. The main question is whether this wound-sealing material can help preserve vocal fold vibration and postoperative voice.

3D Biomodeling and Temporal Bone Dissection Workshop
Özlem Saatci, Ayşegül Batıoğlu Karaaltın

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the complete digital-to-physical workflow of medical 3D biomodeling and its direct clinical application in temporal bone surgical training. Following an opening session and a live exoscope-guided temporal bone dissection demonstration, participants rotate in two groups between two hands-on stations: Station 1 (Hands-on Biomodeling & Printing), where DICOM segmentation, 3D modeling, and print preparation are practiced at the computer and printing stations, and Station 2 (Hands-on Temporal Bone Dissection), comprising seven dissection tables where supervised temporal bone dissection is performed on 3D-printed models. The workshop is limited to a total of 14 participants, open to residents (assistants) and young specialists in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Fourteen principal and four alternate participants will be selected.
