Prof. Gözde Yazıcı, MD, is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, where she also completed her medical and residency training. Her clinical and research expertise focuses on stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and radiosurgery, with a special interest in head and neck cancers and central nervous system tumors. She has extensive experience in re-irradiation and the management of radiation-induced toxicity. Prof. Yazıcı has led multiple national studies on stereotactic treatments for recurrent head and neck cancers and recently co-authored a comprehensive global analysis of radiotherapy workforce demands. Her ongoing work includes integrating SBRT and immunotherapy for head and neck cancers and  glioblastoma. She is an active member of the Turkish Society for Radiation Oncology, ASTRO, ESTRO and RSS.
