Dr. Emre Önal is a fourth-year resident in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Başkent University Ankara Hospital, Türkiye. His academic interests focus primarily on head and neck oncology and surgical management of head and neck diseases. His research includes clinical and pathological studies of patients undergoing glossectomy, with a particular interest in DNA mismatch repair genes and immunohistochemical analysis. He has presented his research at national scientific meetings and has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, including a study on aqua-bipolar cauterization for bleeding control during adenoidectomy.
