Byung Yoon Choi, MD, PhD, is a world-renowned otolaryngologist from South Korea, specializing in the genetic mechanisms of hearing loss and cochlear implant surgery. He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (SNUBH) and Seoul National University College of Medicine.
