<p>Dr. Serafima B. Sugarova, MD, PhD, is an otorhinolaryngologist and otologic surgeon at the Saint Petersburg Research Institute of Ear, Throat, Nose and Speech, Russia. Since 2020, she has served as the Head of the Department for Diagnostics and Rehabilitation of Hearing Disorders. She completed her residency in otorhinolaryngology and received her PhD in 2013.</p> <p>Her clinical and research activities focus on cochlear implantation, inner ear malformations, advanced hearing rehabilitation, temporal bone surgery, and the application of artificial intelligence in temporal bone imaging.</p> <p>Dr. Sugarova is the author of more than 80 scientific publications and holds multiple patents in the field of otology and hearing rehabilitation. She is a regular speaker at international conferences and an instructor at temporal bone and lateral skull base dissection courses.</p>
