The cervical paraganglioma is a rare condition; however, in Trentino, a unique demographic and geographic context has turned this rare disease into an endemic one. We have treated 104 cervical paragangliomas, including 16 bilateral cases and 5 malignant ones, making our single-center experience unique compared to what is reported in the current literature. Furthermore, the availability of proton beam radiotherapy in our region allows for a comprehensive approach to the treatment of this disease.
