Riaz Seedat is professor and head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of the Free State and Universitas Academic Hospital in Bloemfontein, South Africa. His areas of interest include paediatric otorhinolaryngology, and infectious diseases and allergy in ENT, with recurrent respiratory papillomatosis and allergic rhinitis being specific areas of research.
