Stan van Boxel
Stan C. J. van Boxel is a medical physicist, audiologist, and researcher at Maastricht University Medical Center+ (MUMC) in the Netherlands. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. He completed his postdoctoral clinical training as medical physicist-audiologist, and obtained his PhD within the vestibular implant group led by Prof. dr. dr. Raymond van de Berg, both at MUMC+. His clinical work focuses on pediatric audiology and hearing implant care, while his research centers on translational work to improve outcomes of vestibular implants, with specific interests in electrophysiological measures and optimization of stimulation strategies and fitting.
