<p>Raymond van de Berg is Professor and ENT-surgeon at Maastricht University Medical Center, with a special interest in vestibular disorders and cochlear implantation. His research initiatives mainly focus on the vestibular implant, bilateral vestibulopathy and vestibular diagnostics. He obtained his first PhD (in medicine) cum laude, which won several scientific prizes. A second PhD was obtained in biophysics (maximum score).
