The purpose of this proposal is to evaluate the functional and aesthetic outcomes of temporalis tendon transfer in patients with Möbius syndrome. This procedure is a technically straightforward and reliable surgical option for facial reanimation. However, the outcomes related to this technique remain limited in the literature. This study aims to contribute valuable clinical evidence by assessing facial symmetry, oral commissure movement, and patient satisfaction following surgery.
Facial paralysis is a complex condition that profoundly affects patients' quality of life both functionally and aesthetically. Therefore, sharing up-to-date knowledge and surgical experience regarding static and dynamic reanimation approaches is of great importance, particularly among ENT specialists, in terms of professional development and standardization of patient care.
