<p>Dr. Serena Cruz is a medical ethnographer and global health leader with expertise in surgical systems, gender, and conflict. She serves as President of Global Surgery Umbrella (GSU) and lectures globally on health equity, policy, and access in underserved settings. Her interdisciplinary work spans research, advocacy, and program development across Africa, Latin America, and Asia.</p>
