<p>I am an associate professor in the department of otolaryngology of Kaohsiung Medical University and attending physician in the department of otolaryngology of Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital and specialized in the field of otology for years. In addition to clinical performance, I am also interested in bench work about otology. My research can be divided into two parts: clinical research focusing on sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL), and translational research focusing on genetic association study. In the past years, I had published some basic and clinical researches in the sudden hearing loss field. Recently, genetic factors have been considered as an important risk factor for sudden hearing loss.</p>
