<p>Dr. Muhammed Ayas is an Assistant Professor and Program Lead of the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology program at the University of Sharjah, UAE. He has played a pivotal role in establishing and advancing Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology education and practice in the UAE and the wider region. Holding both a PhD in Audiology and a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from the University of Florida, USA, Dr.Muhammed brings extensive international experience in clinical practice, academia and research across India, UAE, and the UK.</p> <p>His research focuses on cochlear implants and vestibular sciences and remains dedicated to supporting cochlear implant recipients throughout their lifelong hearing journey. Dr. Muhammed is a licensed Clinical Scientist in Audiology with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC-UK) & holds Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). He is also an active member of the British Academy of Audiology (BAA), the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and International Society of Audiology (ISA).</p>
