Prof. WU has long been committed to the basic and clinical research of otology and auditory medicine, especially in sensorineural hearing loss, auditory implantation and acoustic neuroma surgery. He led the Chinese newborn hearing screening and intervention programe for more than 20 years and developed systematicly the management strategy of congenital hearing loss.
